While laying the fiber optic cables, maintenance junctions are built which has access points to the cables for maintenance, splicing and testing of cables. Spare cable of about 5meter is also coiled inside the maintenance junction for repairing and future use. Astel offers ductile iron manhole covers for fiber optic junctions or fiber optic maintenance manholes.
